Call out to STAG Members to participate in NEXDOC Consultation ProcessSeafood industry workshop – Expressions of interest and opportunity to provide feedback and ideas for the new NEXDOC & ER systems.
This is a once in 20 year opportunity for industry to influence the design of the export documentation system – the current system has been operating for 22 years. The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources are planning a complete ground up redesign of the systems so all industry people who have any issues with the current system need to participate in the consultation process.
To date the attendance by the Seafood industry has been extremely low, so please register for the opportunity to participate. The Department of Agriculture have issued the following notice for expressions of interest in the consultation meetings. We have been advised that the next meeting is Friday 29th June in Melbourne.
NEXDOC – Seafood industry workshop – Expressions of interest
The NEXDOC project team are coming to (WA/SA/QLD/NSW/TAS) during July & August to provide an update on the new system and what if offers for seafood export clients.
This is your opportunity to provide feedback & ideas on what you’d like to see in the new NEXDOC & ER systems.
Included in the new system is an online portal that will enable clients to deal directly with the department for their certification requirements if they so choose.
Please advise us by return email (to: Enhanced Traceability Project) if you are interested in attending the session and we will forward an invitation once date and venue details are finalised.
Thank you & kind regards
Enhanced Traceability Project Team (NEXDOC)
